The NASA Langley Aerosol Research Group Experiment (LARGE) deploys the NASA Langley Mobile Laboratory (LML) to McCall, Idaho as part of the ground component of the FIREX-AQ project. This mobile platform provides comprehensive aerosol measurements across all size ranges relevant to wildfire smoke and interactions with clouds. The LML welcomes guest researchers from Brown University and University of New Hampshire, Durham. The LML operates in coordination with other research platforms, including the NOAA Twin Otter duo, the Aerodyne Mobile Laboratory and the NASA DC-8.
