AGES+ (AEROMMA+CUPiDS, GOTHAAM, EPCAPE, STAQS and others) encompasses the different aircraft-based field activities during the summer of 2023 including

• Atmospheric Emissions and Reactions Observed from Megacities to Marine Areas (AEROMMA)
• plus Coastal Urban Plume Dynamics Study (CUPiDS)
• the Synergistic TEMPO Air Quality Science (STAQS) mission
• the Lake Michigan Boundary-Layer Regional Environmental Evaluation of oZone and Emissions (LMBREEZE)
• the Greater New York Oxidant Trace gas Halogen and Aerosol Airborne Mission (GOTHAAM) rescheduled to 2025
• the Northeast Corridor Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas (NEC-AQ-GHG) Study
• the Southern California Interactions of Low cloud and Land Aerosol (SCILLA) experiment

and the coordinating ground site activities in

• New York City greater metro area - New York City metropolitan Measurements of Emissions and TransformationS (NYC-METS), Fluxes of Reactive Organic Gasses in New York (FROG-NY), Coastal Urban Plume Dynamics Study (CUPiDS), and Air (Ine)quality in New York City
• Atlanta - including long term monitoring
• Chicago - including Community Research on Climate and Urban Science (CROCUS)
• Toronto - Toronto Halogens, Emissions, Contaminants, and Inorganics eXperiment (THE CIX)
• La Jolla - Eastern Pacific Cloud Aerosol Precipitation Experiment (EPCAPE)
• Boston - Mobile Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas measurements (MAQGHG)
• Los Angeles - mobile laboratory measurements using SISTER2
• Los Angeles - groundsite measurements as part of Inexpensive Network Sensor Technology Exploring Pollution (INSTEP)
• Los Angeles - lidar measurements from the NASA JPL lidar contribution as part of Tropospheric Ozone Lidar Network (TOLNet)
• Houston - mobile laboratory measurements of VCPs

Collectively, the AGES+ campaigns represent the largest air quality-focused research campaign to date, spanning coast-to-coast, and encompassing hyperlocal ground-based observations, a network of instrumented ground sites, several NOAA and NASA research aircraft, and space-based observations from NOAA JPSS and the recently launched NASA TEMPO geostationary satellite.
